  • Insignia built quality not up to scratch

Someone posted these up on VVOC today

Only 3 days old and 76 miles on the clock. The bottom balljoint hadn't been tightened properly. The car now needs a new wing, wheelarch liner, bumper, spoiler, full strut and hub assembly, a new tyre and a new undertray. How long before the recall starts then?

Slightly off topic, but the rear looks toooo like the hyundai coupe!, Back on topic though...

From that pic the pinch bolt is still in the hub carrier, so the BJ could not have "popped" out.....if its sheared has it been f ooked off a pothole?

The gist of it from the lad in the garage where it went to was that the balljoint had only been partially fitted through, so was only on the lower side of the pinch bolt. If that's the case, someone really f*cked up on the line!

I wouldnt have one, they just dont look like a vauxhall

If it was a pothole a cavalier or calibra would of smashed through it without a problem
