  • It's been an emotional afternoon.

Well today's been quite a big day for me.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

It's been almost a year, hours of tears and stress. Worth all that today.

Not 100% happy on the rear end height, so i'll be looking at that this week.

It'll get a wash, polish and wax this week.

See HERE for the reason it was off the road.

    Huge Thanks to
    Harvey and Amanda
    Ste Goffy and Karen &

I didnt know you were doing all that! What was the reason for taking it out? Looks like a nightmare to take out of there, what a monster clutch on it that wouldnt of helped taking it out!!! Hats off to ya

What sort of subframe setup is in the front of an LC did you look into lifting the car off the engine and box at all?

The rear thrust bearing gave up so the easiest option was to take the lump out and do a bottom end rebuild. It was nice having a ride in the old girl yesterday as it's been a while I just need to get my GTE lump rebult now.

                      Quite a few.

All nuts and bolts, only because i replaced them with stainless ones.

I'm sure you'll know stainless bolts aren't as strong as High tensile.....

                            Yep, they'll stretch.

They've only been used on the exhaust, downpipe nuts and flange nuts and bolts, Engine mounts/dampeners and told hold the ChargeCooler to it's bracket. So no worries.

I do feel the zorst sounds louder on idle now you have adjusted your flaps fully open, which is not a bad thing at all as I love the noise the LC gives off.
