Is this as a replacement for the Tigra, or so that you can hack about in a cheap car while the Tigra is in the garage keeping clean and undented?

How about an Astra Sporthatch with the 1.9CDTi if your getting shut of the Tigra?

How's about a low mileage Vecra sri 2.2 direct on a 05 plate with one mature owner and never raced or rallied.

Mmmm, Don't bother with a Scorpion....4.2 V6 Jaguar engine and the pads on the tracks don't last long on tarmac roads.......

Cheap.....Vec C are the best bargains, especially SRI trim with any engine combination. Corsa C/ D? SXi/SRi trim levels are good .....or anything without a folding roof

Reliability....Buy a Rabbits Foot, A four leafed clover and some white heather.....if all else fails, go Japanese

Easily maintained..... most new(ish) cars have increased service intervals, some have smart service indicators (ECOflex) can extend them up to 30k. But the cheapest maintainance is stuff you can do yourself (or talk Rab into)

and it may have been polished once in a while

---- there's more polish on it than they have in Halfrauds.
